In 2015 I co-produced, with Plusdesign Gallery, a month long documentary shoot about Colombia’s indigenous Picó sound system culture. The film was directed by Italian duo Invernomuto. To learn more about my take on Picó culture, you can read an article, “The Hi-Fi DIY of Colombia’s Bass Lords,” that I wrote for Motherboard.
Yale and UVM’s global health programs brought me to Kasensero, Uganda as part of a larger project that I shot documenting their medical student exchange program. It’s notorious as the landing point for HIV/AIDS in Uganda, but I went alongside Caring Hands for a yearly medical camp. There are tons of things to be critical […]
Sometime in 2011 I met Simone Bertuzzi in the dry heat of Casablanca. Our mutual friend Jace said he was a sorcerer conjuring dwindling Italian state arts funds to run his esoteric and brilliant conceptual art practice. This mural is the first manifestation of an ongoing unsanctioned partnership with local toy giant […]

The group exhibition explores “emergence,” the theory that says unforeseeable results happen when a system reaches a certain level of complexity. The show’s title is inspired by a very specific emergent phenomenon, “neuromast,” which is the sensory organ […]
